Tobi Amusan to start Diamond League title defence in China

Nigeria's track sensation, Tobi Amusan, is set to commence her Diamond League campaign in China come January 2024.

Amusan, a three-time Diamond League champion, has consistently demonstrated her prowess on the track.

The Wanda Diamond League has officially released the schedule for the 2024 season, outlining the events and locations for the upcoming meetings. Elite athletes from across the globe will showcase their skills in 15 meetings spanning four continents.

The action is scheduled to kick off in Xiamen, China, on April 20, where Amusan will participate in the highly competitive women's 100m hurdles event.

The 26-year-old athlete etched her name in history in September 2023 by securing her third consecutive Diamond League 100m hurdles title, placing her among legendary athletes such as Dawn Harper.

As Amusan gears up for another thrilling Diamond League campaign, fans eagerly anticipate her performance on the international stage, recognizing her as a dominant force in the world of track and field.
